Different types of dreams……

Lucid dreams

Lucid Dreaming can be defined as actively participating in a dream/vision. You are aware that you are dreaming and actively engaging your will and emotions in the encounter.

Déjà vu

Have you ever had the feeling that you have seen someone before or been someplace before even though you have not? The Bible describes this as God placing this experience in us while we were sleeping and before you are actually there. He sealed it up until the time was right to unveil this experience. It is often a sign to stop and reflect where you are going and what you are doing and inquire of him the meaning of it in your life.

Re-occurring dream/visions

The purpose of the re-occurrence is because the Creator is trying to send you a message that either has not been received entirely or completely understood. So he will resend the message for you to better understand.

Creator -

is God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. It is our belief that God loves humanity so much that he will give us custom made encounters - Dreams/Visions to invite us to know him, to experience who he is.

Are they dreams or night visions ?

Often times our dreams are an expression of the condition of our soul where our emotions are located. So if you go to sleep angry, and dream about rage or conflict, it more than likely stems from your emotional state before you fell asleep. Night visions - are defined here by those dreams which are emotionally much more intense and the feelings seem to linger for most of the day or days. They seem to appear random - out of the blue. The content of the night vision usually doesn't make sense at first because the people and places do not seem to fit. An example would be - "I had a dream about my Grandfather walking with me and talking about my son." I never met my Grandfather because he passed away before I was born so this couldn't be literal, but instead symbolic of my heritage.

It is our belief that the Creator gives us custom made visions so we will inquire to him about the meaning of the vision. The visions are usually an invitation to fellowship with the Creator and healing of a past wound that may or may not be evident.

Job 33:15

Dream Journals

Our dreams can be surreal, deep and sometimes feel very real. Having a record of them can be very useful to capture as much detail as possible. For some you have more insight later and being able to revisit that experience can give more insight into the dream itself.
